Charleton Place hotel over time was the place. to be and still is today.  The horse sculpture is located within the car entrance and the valet. This tree is known to be the oldest live oak tree perhaps in the South.  It is cherished and protected and shown off to tourists just south of Charleston in a park of its own.  You drive down a dirt road as I remember to reach the tree.  It's fascinating and powerful because the tree is huge.  Many people arrive there each day and there is a gift store on site to memoralize this spectacular tree.   Large Image Size:  21.75' x 28' image  w/4” borders = 30" x 36"  Small Image Size: 10" x 13" w/3" borders = 16" x 19"   Printed on Fine Smooth Rag Paper.

Magnolia Plantation is one of the three large plantations in Charleston.  This is a lunch affair set for its guests. The plantations are usually set on rivers to be able to get crops out to sell in their time long ago, and for products to arrive.  Charleston still has an active sea travel business on this rivers and coastal passages.

This image representing a woman in white dress was the lore people share about the Unitarian Church graveyard as the most haunted.  A friend of mine wanted to minic tha woman in white so we created that photograph.

This image was created in the restaurant of Boston Harbor Hotel and as with Carol Martling's images, they are usually food in a particular setting.  This was inside the restaurant of Boston Harbor Hotel in front of the picture window. Of all my harbor shots taken, this is truly my favorite as it captured Charleston Harbor later in the day with all the boats at moorings or on docks. This Marblehead doorway was located at Reds Pond which is a lovely spot where neighbors launch their little model boats on the pond with a remote controller across from this home.  Old Town Marblehead goes back to late 1700's.  And today the harbor still has local fishermen coming back to their dock and off loading their catch for the day.  We could walk down and actually buy directly from the fishermen right there at Marblehead Landing.

This image is The Gastonian Inn steps encouraging one to want to climb the steps to open the door and see the beauty within. This is my all time best view of steps to an inn of anywhere I've shot over 20 years. And the very highly appointed guest rooms are very memorable. this is located in the Historic District where the photography also lived.

This image was taken in the summer in South End Boston at the multi-level garden for a brownstone home of three stories. It is truly the most sensational and restful garden I captured in my photography for all of downtown Boston. 

If you decide to purchase this image, you may also want to purchase Image #11 as it is the view from this brownstone rooftop looking to Back Bay Boston over what appaers to be a high hill which is just an allusion. This pair of curated images would be stunning hanging together as both being horizontal views.
