This is a collection of the colorful food and the best Art Deco hotels, The National Hotel and The Tides Hotel. And by far the best pool of any I've ever captured, The Venetian Pool located in Coral Gables with two waterfalls and cave like grottos. And there is also the The National lap pool which is the longest hotel pool that stretches the length perpendicular from the hotel facade and all the way back to the beach on South Beach. All these images were shot in the same time period as I documented Casa Casuarina, the former Versace mansion also on South Beach.

This is the front door facade of The Tides Hotel looking to South Beach in the middle of all the activity as the sun was setting. This hotel has a casual and yet upscale interior and definately a boutique size hotel with its charm.

Miami's The National Hotel was designed in the Art Deco style of architecture with billowing curtains as one enters. The back and grassy area that leads to the beautiful beach is very serene making the hotel a casual and yet quite memorable experience. At Mosiaco a casual salad in a breeze flow though restaurant is what most visitors desire when on South Beach. The weather most the time is enjoyable although this area has very quick storms pop up and in minutes they disappear. This was Mosiaco Restaurant with open air appeal while inside.
